K-9 Obedience Club of Jacksonville, Inc., (K9) is a Florida Corporation that was founded in 1951 and as of June 27, 2025 was designated as a public charity non-profit that is eligible to receive tax deductible bequests and gifts under IRC §501(C)(3). K-9's purpose is to educate dog owners to make our community safe and to promote humane treatment of dogs. K-9 offers affordable and accessible classes that strengthen the bond between dog and owner.
K-9 also offers seminars on special canine topics and informational programs at general membership club meetings. The club's grounds provide a safe and beautiful area where these activities take place. K-9 hosts AKC licensed Obedience Trials and AKC licensed Rally Trials per year. Our Match Committee holds Obedience Show-n-Go's several times a year where members have the opportunity to test their skills in a trial atmosphere in the ring. K-9 Obedience Club is not affiliated with any private breeder or any other private, public groups or individuals. If someone claims affiliation with K-9 Obedience Club, contact us here. |
