Engagement Games

Requirements: Dog must be comfortable working in a group class environment
Prerequisites:  STAR Puppy or Family Dog (or higher)
Session Length: 7 weeks

Content: We have all been in situations where our dog is distracted by something and there is no way to get their attention back… Now we have a solution to this problem! Engagement Games is designed to teach you how to get and maintain your dog’s attention through a series of games. Throughout class, you will learn a variety of games for getting your dog to opt-in to paying attention to you in a variety of situations, even when they are distracted! We will turn distractions into a cue to pay attention to you
Materials Needed: buckle or martingale collar, 4 to 6 foot leash, lots of small treats.
