Utility

Requirements: Dog must be reliable off-lead around other dogs                           and distractions. They must also have basic                                 retrieve skills (i.e. dumbbell).  It is not required                             that your dog have a CDX title.
Session length: 7 weeks
Cost: $160 ($140 with discount for early registration)
Content: AKC Utility exercises - ​This course introduces dogs to the Utility exercises, including signals, scent discrimination, moving stand, directed retrieve, go-outs and directed jumping.  There will be very limited heeling work in this class. This class is intended for anyone who is interested in training these exercises.
Equipment needed: Utility articles (12 total consisting of 6                                           each of either leather, wood , or metal), 3                                     white gloves, flexi lead, and lots and lots                                     of treats!
